# My iOS distribution certificate is expiring. How should I renew it?

### You can ignore the email from apple regarding distribution certificate
 
##### Where is the certificate used
* The certificate is used during the build process for us to upload to your account and then for you to publish the app to store.
* Once your app is published to store, it doesn't need the certificate.

##### Renewing the certificate
* The next time you request a build, we auto-check the validity of certificate.
* If the certificate has expired, our build process will automatically generate a new certificate at that point of time.
